Heading North

If you have noticed a slowdown in activity in this site recently, it's due to a couple things: our rascally 5-month old and preparing to pack up and move states! I just got the word recently that I was selected for a job with the Air Force in Ohio, and I start in January. So, please bear with me as we uproot and resettle -- hopefully I'll be able to re-energize the blog with projects and pictures from our new farmstead :)

!

I can't imagine moving with a 5 month old. I hope everything goes smoothly . . . do you already own the new farmstead, or are you still looking? Congrats on your new job.

Oh, he's a pretty good little guy -- he tends to conk right out in the car, and is usually happy to play in his play gym when we need to get things done around the house.

We don't have a place picked out yet, but we'll be taking a trip there in a few weeks to look at things.

Finding Home

It sounds like he's got a good temperament. Can't beat that.

Ah . . . well I will wish you both the best of luck finding the property that speaks to you! Don't settle for anything less! :)

That's just one of three such groups in Ohio. I think your homestead design expertise would be put to good use if added to a thriving Post Carbon meeting network

Thanks!

Good group! I'll definitely be getting involved with those folks...
